Continue to train in directions of least physical drain and demand. My mind will be my key to success tomorrow....as I see this challenge, as a challenge of defeat or success before it even begins. Today will entail rest, good eating, family time, recapturing my connection to nature and natural equilibrium and strength. The air and its invigorating properties of the mountain air will become my best friend.
Eating today will entail easily digested protein and carbs, while on the trail more of the same with continued salts and regulated sugar intake and lots of fluids. Hydration begins in the morning, huge quantities of water and the start of the intake of salts and electrolytes. Exercise will remain exercise, but not 'training', if I'm not ready at this point it is too late to train.
I'm not really in a writing mood, my mind is in another spot, so I'll cut this short and have something to blog in a few days.
This was written on my BlackBerry and will be entered in a couple days.
