So last year one of my goals was to reduce the amount of
plastic in my life ... which turned out to be quite the challenge and required
some very different buying and storage choices (mostly in my kitchen). And because I was very focused on the subject
I learned a lot, the link below however
is totally new for me and very exciting (in an environmental nerd sort of way). Thank you Ben Conway (studying in China with
my girls) for bringing this to my attention.
Truly gives a person hope for the healthy future of mother earth with
people like this young man thinking about and coming up with innovative
solutions for the problems that we have created.
A 19-year-old has developed an ocean cleanup array
that could remove 7,250,000 tons of plastic from the world's oceans.
