Consistently

Very excited about learning 2 new forms this year. Lao Gar and Tai Chi broadsword although they both feel different in stances and technique to what I have learned in Kung Fu so far. This added with the fact that I would like to grade means I have an extraordinary amount of work to do.

Realistically ,is it possible to all of that in the amount of time I have? I am not convinced it is but , this won't be the first time I did not think something was possible and tried to achieve it anyway. Our required memorization of Mastery by Stewart Emery states that in the first few sentences.  "Mastery is a product of consistently going beyond our limits."  Scary if you really think about it. Consistently is the key and probably the hardest one.

  1. You can "do it" or "not", you'll be right with either decision, but "not" if I can help it. Show us that it can be!
