When I have a real bummer of a day, and am feeling pretty down, I can't seem to do anything, especially my requirements. I know these are the days I need to do them the most. I just can't.
Know how you feel... those are the days I'm grateful for my dog. She shows me that no matter how crappy my day was, I have bright spots in my life. Gives me motivation to shrug off the day and start a new one.
Try to identify one constant in your life that is amazing, and use it to ground yourself every time you need it. You can borrow my dog if you'd like :)
Sometimes I have days where I want to cocoon and there is nothing wrong with that as that is being in touch with our feelings. It's when we stay there that's the issue. As what Sifu said, focus on what brings you joy and gets your heart pumping.
