Right away I noticed my mind up in the rafters thinking about numbers/how much instead of being present to what I am doing. I did a few moves of Tai Chi to bring myself back down so that I could focus on the here and now.
Kicks: I'm starting right at the beginning with the crane stance and going back into the bow stance. All is done very slowly so that I can see what I'm doing (also feel). My left knee is more wobbly with this because of all of the years I spent curling (as in the ice sport) leaving my knee with uneven muscle strength. I noticed I held my breath during the kicks.
Core muscles: I focused directly on the core muscles moving very slowly and intently. I tuned into when my shoulder started to get involved and adjusted. I found my right side not as strong (just about though) as my left. Makes sense because when I played fastball, my swing was to the left.
Forms: I chose to start from the beginning and go with Awakening the Dragon. The seated position is challenging for me because my muscles are tight, but I held the position and got my quads to relax some. I really noticed that I've been so concerned with counting (as in 3 of this, 3 of that) that I didn't tune into the flow of the form. At one point I caught myself out of sequence and chuckled about it. I started to trust myself that I would know when to move to the next sequence and to start to really feel the flow. I think I will stay with this form for tomorrow.

Sounds as though you are very "in tune" with how your body is responding to what you throw at it. I am going to focus on this a little more as well.
