Congrats Mr. Donahue!
So we had our meeting today. A lot of people are struggling. I find that the people who struggle most are the ones who don't come to the kwoon very often. When you are around inspiring people trying to better themselves, it inspires you to push harder. That's why I'm able to keep going. I am constantly around great, like-minded people who expect a lot from me. I wish the rest of the team would get that aspect. We can help each other, but only if we reach out to one another. Even if you can't come to class, journalling and keeping on kwoon talk do the same things.
I hope everyone left the meeting feeling uplifted. People are struggling yes, but people are also doing great things. Mr. Donahue got his Masters electrician! Awesomeness!
We need to pull together and support each other. No man left behind!
Acts of kindness: helped put up and take down tables for the farmers market, played with another visiting baby who is super cute! and loved up my cat. I also gave a piece of meat to my dog and cat as a treat.
Today I consumed: a bran muffin, half a pancake with syrup, a piece of brown toast with butter, a small poutine, some salad and some lamb and elk with pasta salad. I also ate 2 slices of poppyseed loaf from the farmers market (so good!). I drank 2 cups of coffee, 2 cups of tea, 7 glasses of water and a beer.
