Heritage Days Success!
Today's parade and demo went really well. Sorry to Mr Leung though for the whole sending-him-into-the-bushes thing. Although I'm sure it looked cool.
Now just to prepare for Canada day. We have to step up our game for that one I think.
I'm sure it will go well as long as we continue to work hard and improve. We have to remember that these (demos) are the moments that we look back on and smile. Performing with amazing people makes you feel amazing too. It's such a privilege (I know that sounds corny, but whatever!) and so exciting.
If things don't go well, you still look back and smile, but you smile because that was the moment you learned something valuable....
You carry that knowledge on to the next demo and you grow because of it.
For acts of kindness: I carried a lot of peoples keys in my bag, I picked up the candy and lettuce and I drove a teammate to the parade and back again.
Today I consumed: 2 pieces of peanut butter and nuttella toast, 2 bbgd cheeseburgers and some grilled salmon with cheese and crackers. I drank 6 glasses of water, half a cup of tea, an english toffee coffee and a beer.
