Resting up for the demo
My shoulder has started to act up (I think in part from all the drumming and pushups) so I took it easy today for the demo coming up. After Monday I can start pushing it again, but for now I want to play it safe. Nothing worse than a side-lining injury before a demo! I think it's good to have a couple good rest days before a big performance, gives your body a chance to heal up and prepare. Then I'll be totally ready to go hard on Monday. Our stuff is starting to look really good. I hope someone video-tapes it.
Basic numbers: broadsword, 3, tai chi, 1, pushups, 6, crunches, 0, kicks, 0
Acts of kindness: Encouraged a friend, jumped with Julia on her Grandmas trampoline (this is an act of kindness because I'm not a big trampoliner), gave my cat and dog treats.
Today I consumed: a piece of peanut butter and jam toast, some leftover chill, some salad, roast pork and baked potatoe. I drank a cup of tea, 8 glasses of water and a beer.
