Yesterday we helped set up and take down tables for the street market. It was a great experience for the I Ho Chuaners to bond with each other outside of the kwoon. After we set up, Sihing Choy invited us all over for breakfast. It was great! It's things like that that you remember forever...people smiling and laughing with each other and sharing an accomplishment (like helping out in the community). It is such a great opportunity. I hope that next time something like this needs doing that more people come out. It's not just doing something for others....it does something for you too.
Happy Fathers day everyone whos a father!
Acts of kindness: let my husband sleep in, did his chores for him and got my parents cards for fathers day and my moms birthday. I also coloured with Julia and helped her make a fathers day card.
Today I consumed: 4 pieces of homemade raison bread with peanut butter, a piece of bacon, a potato patty, 2 slices of poppyseed roll, a perigee, a third of a sausage and some vegetables. I drank 8 glasses of water, a cup of coffee and 2 cups of tea.
