Yesterday, I spent 5043 seconds visiting a friend just diagnosed with a rare eye cancer. The cancer was removed, but she still has a change of dying from this cancer. Her odds are pretty good; 80% survival rate. But she is having a hard time getting over the 20% part. They have given her 157680000 seconds (5 years).
In 2592000 seconds (one month), her life was pulled apart. Now she is left struggling to pull it back together. I plan to be there to listen when she needs to talk, and not judge her feelings since I don't really know what she is going through. I do know that I was blessed with 86400 seconds yesterday, and I plan to make each second count today.
