Perspective
Good night at the beginner class tonight. I learned something new about a technique that I didn't know before. It's funny how you learn things when people ask you questions. It's the whole "I've never thought of why it's that way..." then you get to hear your answer. I found the answer popping out of me and found myself listening. It was cool. Different perspectives on things can definitely get you thinking and you get to find out how much you actually know (or don't know:). That's why I like teaching the beginner class. The student's have a fresh perspective on things and often have very good questions as to why we do things. It reminds me that we should be asking why we do things the way we do. Everything has a reason.
Basic numbers: 208 kicks, 202 crunches, 204 pushups, 4 reps tai chi, 4 reps broadsword, 3 miles (and 5 miles yesterday).
Acts of kindness: gave my dog extra luvins, gave my cat treats, held the door x3, smiled at a neighbour, said hi to a passerby.
Today I consumed: a smoothy (banana, blueberries, broccoli, apple, whey protein, chia seeds), a turkey and cheese sandwich, a doughnut, a granola bar, some potatoes with beens and a cucumber and cheese sandwich. I drank 2 cups of coffee, a cup of tea and 7 glasses of water.
