Smoothy attempt 1
So I made a smoothie today.
1 banana, an apple, some blueberries, broccoli, whey protein, milk and ice.
To be totally honest...it was kinda gross.
It didn't taste bad, but the texture was all thick but foamy. Weird.
I did drink it all and I did feel good after. I'm going to have to work on my smoothy making skills though I think....maybe more ice next time... less gross texture.
The whey protein bothers me. That's the stuff I had to drink when I was sick so now every time I taste it, I remember feeling ill and it tastes gross. Maybe if I start associating it with fun things, that will change. I'll have to start drinking it on sunny days outside I guess.
It was nice having something filling to gulp down on the way to work and when I had to rush to class, I was able to guzzle the other half so I had a full tummy. I see the benefits, but I think it will take a bit of practice to make a good one.
I know our kwoon is full of pro-smoothiests so if anyone has any advice, let me know.

Basic numbers: 208 kicks, 202 crunches, 204 pushups, 4 reps tai chi, 4 reps broadsword
Acts of kindness: offered help to some people struggling with a wheelchair, took Julia on a walk when she couldn't sleep, let someone ahead of me in traffic, make Mike breakfast and packed him a lunch.
Today I consumed: a banana, an apple, some broccoli, blueberries and whey protein, a turkey and cheese sandwich, some cheese and crackers, a boiled egg and some potatoes. I drank a cup of tea and a cup of coffee and 8 glasses of water.
